O ansalblu:
Od osnivanja 1943.godine KUD kontinuirano funkcioniše, trudeći se da stalno
unaprijeđuje svoj rad i vaspitno-obrazovno djeluje na omladinu grada kroz česte kulturne
aktivnosti, ali i da okuplja odrasle zaljubljenike u igru i pjesmu. Danas se društvo bavi i naučnoistraživačkim
djelovanjem u domenu etnokoreologije i etnomuzikologije. Primat je sada na
autentičnim scenskim prikazima. Od oktobra 2016. godine društvo je nosilac Nematerijalnog
kulturnog dobra „Tradicionalne igre kolašinskog kraja.“ Riječ je o kolima koja se izvode na stari
arhaični način, isključivo uz pjesmu ili ritam koraka. Organizatori su i „Etno-kampa Kolašin“
istraživačke stanice posvećene nematerijalnom nasljeđu u Crnoj Gori. U sklopu KUD-a djeluju i
škola tradicionalne igre, muška i ženska pjevačka grupa „Đude“. Ansambl funkcioniše u sastavu
JU Centar za kulturu Kolašin.
Since its founding in 1943, KUD has been continuously functioning, trying to constantly
improve its work and educational work on the city’s youth through the frequent cultural
activities, but also to gather adults who love dances and songs. Today, the society is also
engaged in scientific research on the field of ethnochoreology and ethnomusicology. The
primacy is now on authentic stage performances. Since October 2016, the society has been the
holder of the Intangible Cultural Heritage “Traditional Games of the Kolasin Region”. These are
dances that are performed in the old – archaic way, exclusively with song or rhythm of steps.
The organizers are also of the “Ethno-Camp Kolašin” research station dedicated to intangible
heritage in Montenegro. The KUD also has a school of traditional dance, a men’s and women’s
singing group “Đude”. The ensemble operates within the Public Institution Culture Center of
Kolašin.
